Project:Sony Ericsson Press Invitation 2009 

Invitation for a press event in Stockholm

Sony Ericsson categorizes the feature of it’s mobile phones Aino and Saito and links each feature with the four elements: Messaging, Gaming, Music and Imaging become earth, water, fire and air. To educate – among other features and details – German lifestyle journalists Sony Ericsson organized a trip to Stockholm.
Melville created an “elementary” mix with a save-the-date, the printed invitation and an individualized map of Stockholm. A hand-folded heaven-and-earth game completes the invitation in a playful manner.
This project has been assigned by Häberlein und Mauerer, München

Project:j_koenig: Exhibition at rocket 

Magazine and Tshirt series

Melville Brand Design co-founder and art director Johannes König’s paintings are exhibited in rocket.gallery in Reichenbachstrasse im Munich. Single pieces from this exhibition will be lend to Stroke Exhibition (29.-31.10.2009 - In a former BMW dealership in Dachauer Strasse) and temporarily exhibited there. All works of the exhibition are shown in an attending magazine - designed by Melville. Also available for money are T-Shirts with one motif from König’s series. Just stroll into rocket with € 35 on you.

PR-Lookbook for Levi's Boyfiend Cuts collection consisting of the 501 for Women, 603 and 623 shorts. For women it is needless to explain here what a boyfriend cut is, boyfriends who are wondering what it is can draft a mail to us, Attn.: "boyfriend cut" or ask their girlfriends. Commissioned for Levi's PR-agents Häberlein und Mauerer, Munich.

The Codello-Collection are fashion-accessories and according to Codello's Website "Prime pieces of textile acceessory-art that make every woman and every man even more beautiful". We have designed a lookbook for efficient press work. In other words, we beautified what beautifies". Commissioned for Codellos' PR-agents Häberlein und Mauerer, Munich.

Project:Syslab.com Presentation Folder 

Presentation folder for a software development company

The sales-offers of open-source developer Syslab.com are a modular and complex matter. To maximise transparency for the sender and even more so the receiver of the offer Melville designed a folder, dividing pages and moderately amended the Syslab.com-logo. The karton of which the folders and the divider are made of are of the same kind - to provide a fine appearance silk screen print and hot stamp foil were used.

Project:Levi‘s Berlin Unbuttoned 

Graphic concept for a music event

This month' German Music magazine INTRO already calls the Levi's Unbuttoned Tour "the must-be-there event of the year" - and that is before the event. Judging from the design of the poster, we take it? It has gotta be that...

The graphic package consists of icon-design, poster, ads, the tickets to the event, t-shirts and the highly exclusive invitations that are meant to be unbuttoned.

Press Kit Autumn/Winter 2009/2010 for Oxbow

Concept and execution of a Press Kit/Image Book for Oxbow, France. Photo-shooting of two collections ("Culture", "Signature") by photographer Daniel Sommer followed by art-direction and production for the Press Kit/Image Book. Despite many new details in design and production the previous Press Kit/Image Book also designed by Melville Brand Design lends this season's kit recognizable elements of the editorial design.
